Victorian Exploring

In preparation for the class trip to the Argory, P7C have recently started their new 'WAU' topic on Victorians, focusing on the impact of the Irish potato famine during this period. Divided up into groups, the class were asked to analyse photographs and think of a variety of questions they would like to ask the people in this period.

Viking Art

This term Mr Collins P6/7 class have been learning about Vikings in 'World Around Us' (WAU). The class have covered many areas of Viking life ranging from weapons to the styles of houses they lived in. One afternoon recently the class decided to try their hand at making a Viking settlement. Working in groups the class used a range of materials such as cardboard, paper tissue and straw. Using the computers in school, they have made detailed labels to describe the Viking buildings they created. Take a look!
