  • P6 Football Success!

    Fri 09 Jun 2017

Primary 6 boys today did fantastically well to come second out of sixteen teams in the Brownlow Cup.

The boys got off to a flying start, beating Dickson, Millington and Mullaghglass to top the group. They swept aside Carrick in the round of 16 before putting out Seagoe in a tense penalty shoot-out at the quarter-final stage. The boys produced their best performance of the day to defeat a very strong Kings Park team in the semi-final and set up a final against Mullavilly. In a tense eight minutes of normal time, both teams defended excellently to shut each other out. Unfortunately the boys came out on the losing side in the penalty shoot-out, however the future certainly looks bright. Well done boys, you should be very proud of yourselves!
