P1/2 Lon have had a very exciting time performing in the School Concert

Making pancakes on Shrove Tuesday

We had great fun making pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. We helped to put the dry ingredients into the bowl. Mrs Lonsdale added the egg and buttermilk to make a liquid batter. We helped to mix the pancake batter. Mrs Lonsdale poured the liquid batter onto the hot pan. We watched for the bubbles to appear. The heat changed the liquid batter into a solid. We chose our toppings and enjoyed eating the pancakes at Snack time. They were delicious.
