P7 Pupils Have A Great Day At Titanic Belfast.

As part of their WAU topic on the Titanic P7s enjoyed 'The Ship Of Dreams' guided tour before taking part in a workshop about communication on board the Nomadic.

Young Enterprise

P7H are awarded certificates after taking part in a workshop organised by Young Enterprise. The workshop focused on trade in developed and underdeveloped countries, before looking at the advertising and marketing of products.

We have been designing and making Jack-in-the-Boxes which work by using air as their source of energy.  The most successful designs were made by using syringes and tubing to push the Jack out of the box.  Everyone worked really well together in their friendship groups and enjoyed the activity!

P7H design and make balloon jets.

A winning design!

Freeze Frame

P7 pupils reconstruct a photograph taken of an Irish family at the time of the potato famine in Ireland.

Following a discussion, the pupils imagine that they are a member of this family and answer questions from the rest of the class.

In The Hot Seat- P7H interview their very own Queen Victoria, she is definitely not amused!

As part of their study of Victorian Times in Ireland, the P7 pupils were given the opportunity to apply for jobs in the 'big house'.

Congratulations to the successful applicants!
