After reading and discussing the poem ‘The Woodpecker’ by Ted Hughes, P7H worked together in groups to make up questions about the poem. The questions will then be swapped with those of another group before working out the answers.

LURGABOY ADVENTURE!

P7H pupils enjoyed a fantastic day out at Lurgaboy Outdoor Pursuits Centre on Monday 7th June. There was enthusiastic participation by the children in all the activities offered- paddle boarding, kayaking, orienteering, archery and the high ropes course which included a ‘leap of faith’. Everyone was challenged to be brave and overcome their fears which they did, brilliantly. I am extremely proud of them all!!
