March through March

Competition Winners

A huge well done to the winners of March through March. These boys walked nearly everyday! I hope you enjoy your Easter eggs!

Forest School

P3 had lots of fun in Forest School today! First, we gathered resources like twigs and leaves. Then we worked in small groups to create Castle pictures. We had lots of opportunities to problem solve and work collaboratively during our Forest School activity. Look at our fantastic pictures below!

Hot Seating

Today, we completed a hot-seating activity linked to our literacy work. We had to ask Ellie (played by Mr Keenan) to think about questions to ask Ellie. We had to think of questions that Ellie’s family and friends might ask her and Zoo Keepers too! Some excellent questions were asked!

Literacy- Non- Fiction text

In class, we have been exploring the Big Question through our literacy work: Could you keep an orang-utan as a pet? We were introduced to Ellie who wanted an orang-utan. We have discussed things that Ellie would need to care for an orang-utan. In groups, we thought about which pieces of information was the most important and used diamond ranking to place the information in order from most important to least important.

Forest School

P3 enjoyed exploring the Forest School area on Wednesday. There was lots of climbing and we even had a story outside too!

GoNoodle: Get moving!

P3 love using GoNoodle for a little break between work in class. Look at our fantastic moves below! 😁
