Term 2

We had a fantastic morning with our friends from College Farm Nursery School: thanks so much to all the staff there for hosting us. And huge thanks to Jennifer, Katie and Michelle who came with us as helpers. Apologies if anyone is missing from the photos, it was a busy day!

PM Class: Inspired by Scientific Sue, we did some science art today using food colouring, giant eyedroppers and absorbent coffee filter paper. We made wonderful wheels of colour!

AM Class: Inspired by Scientific Sue, we did some science art today. We used food colouring, giant eye droppers and absorbent coffee filter paper to make wonderful wheels of colour!

The children in both classes really enjoyed the science show by Scientific Sue: we saw experiments about push/pull, gravity, magnetism and energy.

The boys and girls in the afternoon class planted beans to take home, to grow a beanstalk just like Jack! I can’t wait to see photos later in the year!

The morning class boys and girls loved the Jack and the Beanstalk story, they planted their very own beans to take home. There will be lots of bean stalks in Richhill in the summer!

In the afternoon class today we were stomping the dinosaurs through the paint and across our pages! It was so much fun!

Who needs paintbrushes? The children in the morning class used dinosaur feet! It was great fun
