World Around Us

As part of our World Around Us topic Bugs, Birds and Beasts we have been looking at the lifecycle of a butterfly.  We have really enjoyed looking after five little caterpillars, watching them grow and change. 
On Friday 22nd April Primary 3 had a visit from Sarah from ZooLab.  She brought lots of creatures with her.  We got to meet Sally the Snail, George the Cockroach, Ziggy the Snake, Melvyn the Tortoise, Rose the Tarantula and Oscar the Rat.  Some of us were brave enough to hold them but we all enjoyed the experience and learnt a lot about these fascinating creatures.
