Numeracy - The Great Length Dice game. We used dice 🎲 to add two numbers together and then measure a line the length of the total of our two numbers. First to the end of the zig- zag line won! 👏
March Prizewinners - Well done 👏
World Around Us - The Egyptians - Science. We investigated how the Ancient Egyptians built pyramids and found out they pulled enormous blocks of stone into position. Jenga blocks were used as substitutes for these blocks. We pushed and pulled jenga blocks to investigate the different levels of friction on a variety of surfaces. Plenty of discussion helped us to justify our opinions.
Numeracy - 3 dimensional shapes. We used 2 dimensional nets to create 3 dimensional shapes. It was good fun! 😊👍

World Book Day 📚Today we brought in our spoons which we had decorated as our favourite character. We shared our knowledge of our characters with each other. Well done everyone! 👏👍🙂
Functional Neurological Disorder Fundraising Day - Today we are raising funds for our nominated charity. We are having a Pyjama Day. Lots of great style in P5A👏🙂
Numeracy - Dice Multiplication - Four in a row. We used our multiplication fact knowledge to play a game. It was great fun! 😃👏✅
ICT - Safer Internet Day - Today we watched a special Assembly led by Mrs McClughan where we learned more about internet safety. We used the c2k Newsdesk to learn more and complete an online quiz.

ICT - Coding. We have been working hard to create a project using ‘Scratch‘. Miss Campbell has been helping us to develop our ability to select and use appropriate code for our sprites.
World Around Us - The topic of Water. Science work. 🔎🕵🏻 We investigated ‘How to make a rainbow’ using water. We were amazed to see how the water was absorbed into the kitchen roll paper and how it changed the colours . 🌈💧
PE - Back to great activities in the Recreation Centre coached by Caitlin from the IFA.
