We began our Wellbeing Week with Mindful Monday. Our Primary 4 class connected with Mrs Logan's Primary 2 pupils to help them create shape pictures. We made some new friends and it made us feel really good when we were able to help and show kindness to others.
Day 2 of Wellbeing week was Think Fit Tuesday. Primary 4 took part in a Joe Wicks exercise class with Mrs Logan. It certainly got our heart rate going!
On Tuesday we had a fantastic Wandering Wild Outdoor session. We sat around the campfire and learnt about the importance of fire. We all got a chance to make sparks with flint and best of all we got to toast marshmallows. We all headed back to class with a piece of charcoal made on the fire from sticks of willow. Thank you to Amy for a very memorable afternoon.
Day 3 was Well Balanced Wednesday. Primary 4 were treated to a demonstration of healthy cooking by our school cook.
Take Care Thursday began with a special NSPCC assembly. We learnt about the rights of children and who we can talk to if we feel unhappy or unsafe.
As part of Take Care Thursday we had a visit from a firefighter. He told us about his job and reminded us all to check our smoke alarms every week.
To end our Wellbeing Week we celebrated Feel Good Friday! We were treated to a gruelling workout in the Recreation Centre by the Heathy Kids team. Then we headed outside for our Colour Run. It was great so see so many friends and family supporting us today.
