Forest school: afternoon class! We enjoyed the Happy Hedgehog Band story and made shakers using dried food items. We practised pouring and using a funnel. Then we made our Happy Hardy Band under the trees and sang some songs. It was great fun!
At Forest School today we read the story of The Happy Hedgehog Band. We then made shakers using bottles and dried food items so we could play and sing under the trees and make our own Happy Hardy Band!
The morning class had their first visit to Forest School today. After establishing boundaries and safety rules for Forest School, we had an Autumn Scavenger Hunt, did some Circle Games, enjoyed an Autumn story and sang songs. The children were fantastic, well done, everyone!
The afternoon class enjoyed their first visit to Forest School. We looked for signs of Autumn in the woods, played some circle games and enjoyed the story of Two Hungry Bears. We are working hard to follow instructions and walk safely in a line
