Term 3

World Around Us: Wow! Look at our beautiful butterflies! P1 have absolutely loved observing their caterpillar friends growing and changing over the past few weeks.

Happy 5th Birthday, friends! We celebrated everyone who had turned 5 in Term 3!

Sports Day 2021 - Well done everyone for joining in, trying your best and having lots of fun! Enjoy our special video on Seesaw!

Forest School: We used real tools very carefully to make caterpillars from sticks!

ICT: We can program Bee-Bot to move forwards and backwards along a track!

Numeracy: We looked carefully at the butterfly in ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ - she is the same on both sides! We practised making patterns that are the same on both sides!

Forest School: We enjoyed using sticks to add!

Numeracy: We hunted through our junk materials to spot 3D shapes! Then we used them to make new homes for The Very Hungry Caterpillar!

Literacy: After reading ‘What the Ladybird Heard’, P1 received a call from the police to say Lanky Len and Hefty Hugh had been spotted in Richhill! They have been busy making police hideouts and wanted posters to help to catch them!

Maths Day: We had lots of fun wearing numbers and adding outside!

Forest School: We have been learning about the ‘ch’ digraph. We used Cheerios to make bird feeders!

Literacy: We planned a party for our friends who had turned 5 from January to April!

Numeracy: We have been learning about teen numbers!
