SHARED EDUCATION
Shared Education
Welcome to the Shared Education page for Hardy Memorial Primary School and St. Patrick’s Primary School.
Our partnership began in 2017 and continues to grow each year. Pupils from Nursery to P7 have taken part in joint lessons and activities across a range of curriculum areas. These shared experiences help pupils build friendships, learn from one another, and develop positive relationships.
Through Shared Education, both schools work together to provide enriching learning opportunities for our pupils. Teachers and governors also collaborate by sharing expertise, resources and good practice while strengthening professional relationships.
PEACEPLUS ASPIRE
Our Shared Education work is supported by PEACEPLUS ASPIRE, part of the PEACEPLUS programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
The programme promotes peace, reconciliation, and collaboration through Shared Education. By learning together from a young age, pupils develop respect, understanding and lasting connections across communities.
