Remembrance Sunday

A special service was held at the Cenotaph on Whitehall on Remembrance Sunday at which one of our families attended along with their granddad.  It consisted of a parade of Armed Forces veterans, civic dignitaries and religious officials followed by a service and a minute’s silence.

They were invited to attend the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall.  It was a real privilege and have kept the poppy petals as a keepsake.
