03.12.21 - P7G Ditch The Dark

Richhill was a brighter place on the morning of Friday 3rd December, as the pupils of Hardy “Ditched the Dark” and wore reflective clothing to school. We met at The Hub car park and walked through the village to school. We were bright and ready for a good day of work!

26.11.21 - Life Skills - How to tie a necktie

If this were a competition, it would have been a tie. P7G were learning how to tie a necktie … an important life skill! We tied our own ties and helped others to perfect their technique!

19.11.21 - Victorian Day

To end our “Victorians” topic in World Around Us, the pupils of P7G took part in a Victorian Day. We were dressing up, playing games, refining our handwriting skills and learning more about the way the Victorian people lived. A wonderful day was had by all! Take a look at some snaps showing what we got up to!

15.11.21 - Odd Sock Day

To start Anti-Bullying Week 2021, P7G took part in odd sock day. There were some wonderfully eye-catching socks on display and everyone went to effort to participate. We will be completing a number of activities as part of Anti-Bullying Week, with the theme this year being “One Kind Word”.

05.11.21 - Bonfire Outdoor Art

P7G enjoyed making artwork using autumn leaves to make “bonfire art” to coincide with 5th November. Take a look at some of our fabulous artwork!

October Prizewinners

Well done to the winners in October’s Celebration Assembly!

01.10.21 - Acting Out Inventions

As part of our “Amazing Inventions” Literacy topic, we have been acting out how the absence of some inventions would impact our lives. These inventions ranged from an auto-bus bus 🚌 to a pencil ✏️! P7G truly are a class act!

September Prizewinners

Well done to the winners in September’s Celebration Assembly!

28.09.21 - Swimming at the South Lake Leisure Centre

P7G certainly give swimming lessons a “thumbs up”! We really love travelling to the South Lake Leisure Centre in Craigavon to learn the important skill of swimming.

17.09.21 - 180 Challenge

P7G braved the rain to set out on our walk around the village in aid of the 180 Challenge, with money raised going to children's cancer services. In the afternoon, we also participated in a circuits session where we completed 9 different fitness excercises 20 times each. Thank you for all of your kind donations and well done to all pupils involved!

02.09.21 - Harvesting in the Garden

P7G were asked to help with a very important task … harvesting vegetables from the school garden. We harvested cabbages, cauliflower, onions and potatoes. Some nutritious and healthy dinners were served at home as a result! Mr Glenny even enjoyed some cauliflower cheese.

01.09.21 - Trim Trailblazers!

We had lots of fun keeping fit and active using our new “Trim Trail”. Miss Campbell and Mr Glenny even had a go! The boys and girls of P7G certainly showed their agility as they showed us how it was done!

31.08.21 - Classmate Bingo

The pupils of P7G started off the year by playing “Classmate Bingo”. This game helped us to get to know one another a little bit better and we especially enjoyed finding the gifted comedians, talented musicians and wonderful whistlers in our class.
