For the first time we had fun on the Tower of Terror and Aerosmith Rocking Rollercoaster as well as Studio Tours!  MR COLLINS AND MRS MCCLINTOCK JUST LOVED THE TOWER OF TERROR!! We managed the old favourites Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Of course no day was complete without tea in Planet Hollywood and then shopping in Disney village!!
  • Day 2 in Paris!

    Wed 24 May 2017
The day began swimmingly in Aquaboulevard! Some serious slides, wave makers and races down the flumes. No better place to have lunch then but McDonalds. A much more cultured afternoon was spent in the Louvre viewing the Mona Lisa - she sits behind bullet proof glass and blast walls and yes..... She's still smiling and watching you all the way....!  A filling tea was eaten in Flunch with a number of ice creams to follow and then it was onto the river Seine! On a most beautiful balmy evening in Paris we then enjoyed our river cruise complete with Florian our guide! Everyone enjoyed the ride and waved continuously at the numerous Parisians who lined the Seine enjoying their picnics. Tonight just back at the hotel there's time to catch the second half of Ajax v Man U! All hoping for a Man U win! Aghh!!!

    Wed 17 May 2017

Well done to P6 Mr Collins and Mr Smyth who are now Coding Champions! The classes have been working on Scratch, a coding programme, with Seamus Sands an Analytics Engineer from the world renowned company Kanios! As part of their 'Rainforest' topic they have been building a game using computer programming language and software. Seamus came into school to support the teachers and pupils in their project and was extremely impressed with the skills they had built up. Coding is an oversubscribed After schools Club as well as being taught through the curriculum in P4 and P5.

Seamus took assembly for P4 -7 pupils and explained his route into his job. He was inspirational!
