We then arrived at the Natural History Museum where we learnt all about dinosaurs, mammals and the earth.

  • Our Coronation Celebrations!

    Tue 09 May 2023

A huge thankyou to Mrs McCready and our PTA who organised a wonderful day for the whole school community. It was perfect in every way!

Our day included welcoming our past pupils who had attended the school during the Queen's coronation. We also welcomed back to school Mr Dean Woods, our previous Principal and Mrs Audrey Henderson our previous Vice Principal. Our special guest was Mrs Freda Muldrew who had been a member of staff at the school in 1953. We were treated to poems, musical items and readings and a special viewing of the Sport's Day held in our school on the day of the Queen's coronation in 1953. Our special guests were able to watch the amazing video footage.

Guests were treated to beautiful music from present and past pupils as well as friends of the school. This was such a treat!

Morning tea included beautiful scones and an array of lovely traybakes. We planted two commemorative trees and cut a beautiful cake!

Such hard work went into making this day such a success. We want to thank everyone for the part they played, no matter how small!
