Thankyou to Mrs Haire's class who led our assembly for Remembrance. P4 pupils told us the story behind the poppy and may interesting facts about the wars. Lucy Megaw remembered her great uncle and was able to show us his medals from the Battle of the Somme. We were delighted once again to welcome our friends from The Royal British Legion. Mr Tommy Foster, who has always organised our Poppy Collection, accompanied his colleagues to school. It was lively to learn the story behind the flag.
