Shannaghmore P6W - Day 1!

  • Bramley the scarecrow wins 1st place!

    Congratulations to P3 Mrs Hill's class who created Bramley the scarecrow for Richhill's Apple Fayre. He looked fantastic and picked up first place!!

  • Boys Football - Autumn Festival

    Fri 25 Oct 2019

    Well done to the boys football team who went unbeaten in the Autumn Festival at Drumgor PS today. The boys defeated Dickson 1-0 and enjoyed great battles against Millington, Kings Park and Bocombra, all of which ended in draws thanks to some excellent defending and goalkeeping.

    A very encouraging first display of the season. Rest up and enjoy your week off!

    Once you begin to type Hardy our school will immediately come up. Even small purchases quickly mount up to significant amounts. If you are shopping online for Hallowe’en costumes, decorations, Christmas presents or crafts, clothing etc. in the next couple of weeks, remember Easyfundraising will donate a percentage of your purchase to Hardy Memorial PS at no cost to you . e.g.

  • Cycleology Voucher Winner!

  • Well Balanced Wednesday

    Eco Council distributed fruit to all classes on Wednesday morning. The fruit was kindly donated from SuperValu Fruitfield and Tesco, Portadown. Pupils have enjoyed tasting fruit and making some healthy treats. 

  • Wandering Wild Forest School

    Tue 01 Oct 2019

    Amy Dixon from Wandering Wild Forest Schools joined us in our school grounds today. She had a campfire burning beside our vegetable patch. Each class that participated today were able to take part in a range of activities including toasting marshmallows and writing using charcoal made on the campfire. The rest of the classes will participate tomorrow (Wednesday). This outdoor session was a highlight for many pupils!

     

     

  • Think Fit Tuesday

    P1 and P2 pupils participated in Yoga sessions with Cherie Rutherford (Hold and Flow). Pupils and staff enjoyed the activities and learning yoga poses. We even had animals and superheroes included! 

     

    P3 to P7 pupils participated in workout sessions with Mrs Logan. They had great fun and enjoyed the activities which included dances and 5 minute movers by Joe Wicks. 

     

    Nursery enjoyed using the 5 minute movers by Joe Wicks in class. 

  • HEALTHY ME ASSEMBLY

    We started our Health & Well Being week with a super  interactive assembly taken by Heather from Action Mental Health. This highlighted the 5 Healthy Me strategies to well being!
