  • P6S - Day 3 Shannaghmore

    Mon 24 Sep 2018

The final morning at Shannaghmore saw the children tidy their own bedrooms (very well!) before embarking on the much anticipated high ropes course! In blustery conditions, children made their way around the obstacle course at approximately 40ft in the air; very brave indeed!

There was even some evidence of dish cloths being used to clean up the canteen after their much deserved lunch. I wonder will this skill make its way back home!

Well done to all boys and girls, they were very well behaved and enjoyed every minute.

  • P6K Shannaghmore Day 1

    Mon 17 Sep 2018

P6 have arrived safely at Shannaghmore.  We got our rooms organised and collected our equipment before lunch.  Everyone enjoyed the chips and fish fingers, some people even had seconds which was a good idea as we knew we had a busy afternoon ahead of us.

All groups headed to Bloody Bridge for wet bouldering!

We finished off day 1 with an evening beach walk at Murlough bay and supper back at base.

    Charlene's Project

A few photos of one of the schools that benefited from the books received from our help last year. On behalf of Charlene’s Project Janice Barr would like to pass on her thanks to all the teachers and pupils of Hardy Memorial. The 6 schools in Uganda are so grateful for it all. Thanks again for supporting a charity very close to our hearts.

We are delighted to have helped!!

  • Assembly Presentations

    Mon 17 Sep 2018

Today we were delighted to have Naomi in from Richhill Methodist. She reminded us of the power of words and how it was important to say kind, uplifting words to others.

We also presented our Pupil and Eco Council as well as our Digital Leaders with their badges. We look forward to an exciting year with them at the helm!
