Shannaghmore P6W - Day 1!

  • Patrycja

    Tue 26 Feb 2019

The entire Hardy Memorial Primary School community is deeply shocked, saddened and numbed to learn of the passing of our Primary 6 pupil Patrycja.

“Patrycja was a kind, gentle, out-going little girl with the most beautiful smile. She loved singing and enjoyed her many outings with our school choir. She endeared us all with her willingness to help and support others. Patrycja was extremely popular with both staff and pupils and we are profoundly saddened by her death. Our hearts go out to Patrycja’s parents and wider family circle; they are foremost in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time.”

  • Barra Best sends P4M their own weather forecast!

    Sun 24 Feb 2019

It was a surprise for Mrs McClughan’s class to receive their very own weather forecast from none other than their favourite weather forecaster, Barra Best!

P4M have been studying Weather & Climate in World Around Us. Every child was recording the weather daily over a week. They were so enthusiastic that it even became a topic of conversation over the dinner table in Rosie’s house. Her mum then surprised us all by sending Mrs McClughan a very personal weather message from Barra.

We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we did!

Well done to our boys’ football team who took part in the Jones Shield 5-a side qualifying tournament at the Football Warehouse in Portadown. The boys put in some fantastic performances and finished with three wins, a draw and a defeat. We’re currently waiting to hear whether the boys have done enough to qualify for the overall MUSFA 5-a side festival later in the year. Well done again and happy half term!
  • P3C Valentine's Assembly!

    Thu 14 Feb 2019

Well done to P3C who took assembly this morning based on 1st Valentine's Day. They emphasised the power of love through the story of the Good Samaritan. The assembly was very poignant as it was the last assembly for Mrs Campbell before she retires at the end of February. We all wish her well.
