The afternoon class had good fun adding spikes to their hedgehogs using forks! They created hedgehogs who are unique, just like the children themselves!

The morning class really enjoyed using forks to add spikes to their hedgehogs! And just like the children who created them, each hedgehog is unique!

Shake, shake shake! The PM class loved making music in the Hardy Forest

(PM class) We read the story called The Happy Hedgehog Band, where a happy hedgehog called Harry and his friends Helen, Norbert and Billy made drums and filled the woods with the humming and tumming of drumming! We made shakers using plastic bottles and lentils, birdseed, rice etc and filled Hardy Forest with our music!

We had some vegetables left from all our healthy eating activities this week so we made vegetable soup! It was yummy!

The afternoon class wore sunny yellow for World Mental Health Day, talked about what makes us happy and made Happy Cards for our family!

We all wore yellow for World Mental Health Day! We then had a circle time where we talked about all the things that made us happy and afterwards we made Happy Cards for our family! (morning class)

Who knew vegetables are great for painting?! The afternoon class enjoyed using carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and potatoes for printing.

The morning class have discovered that vegetables aren’t just tasty, they’re great for painting with as well! We used cauliflower, carrot, broccoli and potato to do some printing.

Day two of well-being week: both classes enjoyed lovely crunchy vegetables with their snack.

It’s time to move it, move it! The afternoon class really enjoyed their dance session with Miss Blevins!

The afternoon class really enjoyed their first visit to PE in the school PE hall. We played the traffic light game, the spots game and practised moving like lots of different animals before cooling down with some relaxation and deep breathing. What a great first PE session!
