Science Week

P4 had a super time at the W5 show celebrating Science Week, loving every moment of taking part in experiments and learning lots along the way 🧪🧬🔬

Art-a-thon

Art‑a‑thon Day was great fun as we explored oil pastels and created Monet‑inspired artwork. We’re excited to see our pictures at the exhibition 🪷🎨

World Book Day

World Book Day was lots of fun as we dressed up as words and brought vocabulary to life! 📖

Celebration Assembly

Richhill Library 

We really enjoyed our visit to Richhill Library, discovering all kinds of books and using our imaginations to create stories of our own 📚✏️

Peace Plus 

We had a fantastic Shared Education Day with St Patrick’s, making music together in an exciting Fun With Drums workshop 🪘🥁

Numeracy 

We had great fun developing our knowledge of length, measuring lots of different items – and even measuring ourselves 📏

Drama 

We loved exploring creativity and imagination in drama with Konflux Theatre, bringing animal characters to life through movement and storytelling 🎭🦁🐯

P.E

Primary 4 are enjoying their ongoing hockey sessions with Christine, growing in confidence while developing key skills through fun and teamwork 🏑

Museum on the Move 

Before starting our new topic, we enjoyed one final day of learning all about World War II. Museum on the Move sent out lots of fascinating artefacts for us to explore and explained the stories behind them. It was a fantastic, hands‑on way to finish our topic! 🪖

Numeracy

This week we have been learning all about weight. We enjoyed estimating, measuring and comparing the weights of different items ⚖️

Literacy 

In literacy, we have been exploring poetry. We absolutely loved getting up and performing poems for our peers. Lots of expression, confidence and creativity on show! 🌟

Celebration Assembly

Peace Plus

We loved our first shared session with St. Patrick’s Primary School. P4 had a fantastic day with Healthy Kidz, taking part in football, basketball, dancing, and team‑building games. Great teamwork, great fun and a brilliant start to our Shared Education! 💙🤝❤️

Palace Stables Trip

As part of our World War II topic, we visited the Palace Stables where we enjoyed dressing up as evacuees and learning all about what life was like during the war. 

STEM Investigation

After learning about the blackout during World War II, we explored the meaning of opaque, translucent and transparent before testing different materials to discover which worked best for creating a blackout 🚫💡

P.E

In our first hockey session with Christine, we had fun learning how to handle the stick and control the ball while playing together 🏑
