Term 2

Museum on the Move

Before starting our new topic, we enjoyed one final day of learning all about World War II. Museum on the Move sent out lots of fascinating artefacts for us to explore and explained the stories behind them. It was a fantastic, hands‑on way to finish our topic! 🪖

Numeracy

This week we have been learning all about weight. We enjoyed estimating, measuring and comparing the weights of different items ⚖️

Literacy

In literacy, we have been exploring poetry. We absolutely loved getting up and performing poems for our peers. Lots of expression, confidence and creativity on show! 🌟

Celebration Assembly

Well done to our January winners 🌟👏

Peace Plus

We loved our first shared session with St. Patrick’s Primary School. P4 had a fantastic day with Healthy Kidz, taking part in football, basketball, dancing, and team‑building games. Great teamwork, great fun and a brilliant start to our Shared Education! 💙🤝❤️

Palace Stables Trip

As part of our World War II topic, we visited the Palace Stables where we enjoyed dressing up as evacuees and learning all about what life was like during the war.

STEM Investigation

After learning about the blackout during World War II, we explored the meaning of opaque, translucent and transparent before testing different materials to discover which worked best for creating a blackout 🚫💡

P.E

In our first hockey session with Christine, we had fun learning how to handle the stick and control the ball while playing together 🏑
