Congratulations to the winner of the Primary 5 Harvest Hampers!
To celebrate Maths Week we took our Numeracy outdoors. We used trundle wheels to work out the perimeter and area of the playground.
The children’s author Declan Carville came into class to talk to us about his career. He spoke about where he gets his ideas from and explained the process of creating a book, including how he works with illustrators and publishers. Now we are inspired to do the same.
We were delighted to welcome Firefighter Fegan into school to talk to us about fire safety in the home.
Thank you to all the grandparents who came to visit our classroom. We loved showing you around our room and having time to chat with you!

To celebrate the end of our Literacy topic on Roald Dahl’s The Enormous Crocodile, we put our STEM skills to the test by designing our own crocodiles with mouths that open and close.
P5H were delighted to take assembly focusing on the theme of ‘Being a Good Friend’.
