  • Our new Pupil Council chairperson and Secretary lead assembly!

    Thu 11 Sep 2025

We had a very busy assembly today!

First we welcomed Ken and Josh from Portadown Football Club- they brought us free family tickets for their next match and taught us so much about the club!

We then welcomed Paul Gwynne in to present our worry and bright ideas boxes. We love these and want to thank last year’s Pupil Council for ensuring this happened. Next we had Emily and Alfie deliver the Pupil Council’s programme for this year.

Our Pupil and Eco Council then received their badges for this year as well as Digital Leaders.

Finally we were delighted to see a fantastic slide show of David and Charlie’s trip to Australia - the boys were fantastic and very entertaining! We loved the whip circling it was awesome!

  • Amy and Fran's epic journey!

    Thu 04 Sep 2025

It was lovely to have Amy and Fran from Drop Inn Ministries in assembly today to talk about their epic walk to raise funds for a new school in Zambia. They are walking the West Highland Way, Scotland to fund educational facilities in 2 locations in Kasama, Zambia. One is the expansion to the existing Drop Inn School in Kasama & the other is to build a new school in a rural village called Chabukila.

It was lovely to hear their stories about the difficulties young people endured in walking to school. Just like the hopes and dreams we have, they too wish for a wonderful future.

If you would like to help them click on the link below the read more about their story.
