  Congratulations to our boys and girls hockey teams who play extremely well at their Mid Ulster Qualifying tournaments. A superb effort by both teams.

  

• Farewell to Mr Speers & Mrs Hutchinson

  Last Friday Hardy Memorial said farewell to Mr J Speers and Mrs P Hutchinson who have each served 40 years on our Board of Governors. We thanked them for their service to the school and community and wished them well. Our choir sang and Pupil Council delivered a poem which they had jointly written. Mrs Anderson took all on a journey through the history of our school in the 40 years Mr Speers and Mrs Hutchinson had been there. We celebrated successes, challenges and achievements throughout their tenure. We reflected on the superb commitment of Mr Speers in his role as Chairman of the Board in the last 10 years and Mrs Hutchinson on the caring and supportive role she had exhibited to all over the years.
