  • Mrs Kelly's Retirement

    Mon 24 Jun 2024

Mrs Kelly, familiar to so many of our school community has decided to retire! Betty as she is fondly known to us all has cared for and supported so many pupils in her 25 years as a Lunchtime Supervisor and lately as a Classroom Assistant with us here. She has worked throughout school; her kind and gentle nature has ensured the smooth running of our playgrounds where she always enjoys interacting with the children during play and ensuring they are safe and happy. We know you will join us in wishing Betty well as she relaxes into a long and happy retirement.

Hardy Memorial is an outstanding eco-school. It is expertly led by its eco-coordinator Joanne Kennedy who is evidently passionate about environmental issues. The pupils at Hardy Memorial have been offered a wide range of environmental areas of concern to investigate, action and work as a team to deliver positive outcomes. Hardy Memorial have been successful in achieving Ambassador School status from 2024 onwards.
