  • Think Fit Tuesday

    P1 and P2 pupils participated in Yoga sessions with Cherie Rutherford (Hold and Flow). Pupils and staff enjoyed the activities and learning yoga poses. We even had animals and superheroes included! 

     

    P3 to P7 pupils participated in workout sessions with Mrs Logan. They had great fun and enjoyed the activities which included dances and 5 minute movers by Joe Wicks. 

     

    Nursery enjoyed using the 5 minute movers by Joe Wicks in class. 

  • HEALTHY ME ASSEMBLY

    We started our Health & Well Being week with a super  interactive assembly taken by Heather from Action Mental Health. This highlighted the 5 Healthy Me strategies to well being!

  • P6S - Shannagh-more Day 3

    On our final morning, boys and girls were split into three groups and all completed the low ropes course, hard walk climbing and orienteering. We’re currently enjoying our final lunch and will hit the road soon. See you all back at school!

    Another fantastic morning at Shannagh-more! Two groups went wet bouldering at Bloody Bridge while the other group went canoeing in Castlewellan Lake. After lunch, some children even discovered the lesser-spotted dishcloth! 😀 This afternoon the groups are switching over and completing bouldering and canoeing. Everyone having a ball in the sun!

    What a day! We arrived safely in perfect weather conditions. After a delicious lunch we all headed to Tullymore for an adventure walk through ditches, tunnels and rivers. Soaked to the skin and mucked to the eyeballs but loving every second! This evening we were blindfolded and completed the famous ‘Nightline’ through the grounds of Shannagh-more. DVD and supper time now and fingers crossed for an early night!

    P6 have enjoyed a very busy day, settling into their rooms, collecting equipment and then a very mucky adventure walk in Tollymore. More photos on the class page!
