  • Football Success

    Fri 15 Feb 2019
    Well done to our boys’ football team who took part in the Jones Shield 5-a side qualifying tournament at the Football Warehouse in Portadown. The boys put in some fantastic performances and finished with three wins, a draw and a defeat. We’re currently waiting to hear whether the boys have done enough to qualify for the overall MUSFA 5-a side festival later in the year. Well done again and happy half term!
  • P3C Valentine's Assembly!

    Well done to P3C who took assembly this morning based on 1st Valentine's Day. They emphasised the power of love through the story of the Good Samaritan. The assembly was very poignant as it was the last assembly for Mrs Campbell before she retires at the end of February. We all wish her well.

  • Digital Leaders take INTERNET SAFETY assembly!!

    Our Digital Leaders took assembly today and shared with the rest of the school the importance of CONSENT when doing anything online. The biggest message is always to ask an adult so you can be sure you will be safe online!
  • Lyn Hobson visits Hardy Memorial!

    A huge thank you to Lyn Hobson, a past pupil of the school who took one of our first assemblies on the theme, Inspirational past pupils! Following a request from the Pupil Council to hear from past pupils, Lyn agreed to take our first assembly. Everyone was delighted to hear about her memories of Hardy memorial and now what she works as in ALMAC!
  • NI Cross Country - Alex McAfee

    Congratulation to Alex McAfee who finished 5th in the NI Cross Country final. Over 170 boys competed from all across NI. What a tremendous result Alex. Well done!!
  • Choir at UTU Centenary

    What a fantastic evening we had at the Ulster Hall. The choir were fantastic. We are so proud of them all. A huge thanks to Mrs Marks, Mr Glenny, Mrs H Wilson, Mrs Y Wilson, Mrs Millar and Mrs Salt who accompanied on the night. We thoroughly enjoyed, McDonalds , the Ulster Museum and of course our starring role in the Ulster Hall!

    Well done to P4 H who took a fantastic assembly on 'Doing good to others'. They treated us to a great drama, excellent acting and well rehearsed lines. Well done!!
  • Eco Council @ 'Manmade Exhibition'

    Our school Eco Council attended the 'Manmade' exhibition in the Millennium Arts Centre on Friday. They theme was destruction of our oceans due to plastic! The Council were able to see how artists had beach combed and used what they found to create though provoking displays. So many waste plastic products discarded by fishermen!

     

    Jack Foster was awarded Artist of the day!!
