  • Portadown Times Hockey Winners!!

    Wed 07 Dec 2016

Congratulations to our fantastic boys' hockey team who won the Portadown Times Hockey Tournament at Edenvilla Portadown.

In the first match of the tournament the team started nervously with a 1-1 draw against Edenderry Banbridge.  Hardy equalising in the last minute.  We then had a convincing 4-0 win over Windsor Hill.  The final and deciding match of the group stage saw Hardy draw 0-0 against Seagoe and topping the group on goal difference.

The semi-final against Abercorn saw Hardy win 2-0, with some lovely skill and team play.

With excitement building, and Mrs Logan getting nervous it was Hardy 'v' Bocombra in the final.  After a slow start, it was the second half before we scored the tournament winning goal, Hardy 1- Bocombra 0.

Well done to the Hardy boys making history and winning the Portadown Times Tournament for the first time!

Special thanks to Mark Evans for his coaching from the start of the season, hard work pays off!!smiley

They sang beautifully. Mrs McClughan's class then took us through a lovely assembly about the poppy and reminded us of the importance of remembering. Robert then spoke on behalf of the British Legion. A huge thankyou to the gentlemen for attending our service.

  • P5A Assembly!

    Wed 09 Nov 2016

Thankyou to Miss Armstrong's class who took assembly this morning! The theme was Hands. They considered God’s hands, Jesus hands and our hands. We read from the bible about the wonders God created, performed a drama about Jesus hands blessing the children and dramatised how our hands could help ‘Mr Glenny’, people who fall and an elderly person who dropped his groceries.

    P5A finished with lovely singing!

Thankyou, you worked hard and enjoyed performing!
