Blaris Training Solutions Parent Workshops

FOR YOUR INFORMATION
Blaris Training Solutions, part of Employers For Childcare Charitable Group in Lisburn are running a free parent workshop in Armagh Business Centre. They recently received funding from Awards For All to deliver ‘Promoting Positive Behaviour’ workshops to parents across Northern Ireland, which means they can run it for free but there is a limit on the number of places. The location is Armagh Business Centre on Thursday 19th November from 6.30pm – 8.30pm. There are 18 spaces available. If you are interested

HARDY/DROP-IN CHARITY - CLOTHES DRIVE
Sun 01 Nov 2015Do you want to make space for Christmas?
Please fill a bin bag of unwanted clothes/shoes and help our Eco Council support the Drop-In Charity Clothes Drive.
All bin bags can be left in the main entrance to school, this Tuesday 3rd November
until Friday 6th November.
For every tonne collected the school will receive £500.

Football Success!!
Wed 21 Oct 2015Hardy Memorial took two teams to the first Mid Ulster Festival last Friday. It was an extremely successful day with both teams recording wins over local schools. The boys and girls played fantastically and certainly impressed all those watching. Well done!

Mr Pillow & Mrs McNally visit assembly!
Thu 17 Sep 2015We were delighted that our school crossing patrol helper, Mr Pillow and Mrs McNally could join us this morning in assembly. They explained to us all about how important it was to cross the road with them. We listened carefully as Mr Pillow reminded us of the Green Cross Code. Mrs McNally then kindly gave all the pupils badges and a bookmark. -
New Pupil Council and Eco Council Elected!
Thu 17 Sep 2015Congratulations to our new Pupil Council and Eco Council members. They received their badges in assembly this morning and will now begin the hard work of making decisions in school about all aspects of school life including the playgrounds, the school environment etc.

Welcome to all our P1 pupils!
Wed 09 Sep 2015We welcomed all our P1 pupils into school today. It was an exciting day for parents and pupils. They had an fantastic day which was made even better by the help and assistance of our new P7 playground pals. The P1 pupils enjoyed playing games with the P7 pupils at break time, skipping, using the playground markings to hop, skip and jump were among many of the playground games they engaged in.
We welcome the Ulster Gazette and Portadown Times into school, this Thursday, to capture P1's first days at school!

Best Wishes
Fri 21 Aug 2015At this time our thoughts turn to the new school year. School uniforms are being prepared and shoes purchased and polished for school starting on 1st September. The school has been cleaned by the hardworking caretaker and cleaning staff and over the next few days the teaching staff will be planning and preparing for the return of the children. I would like to wish our new principal, Mrs Anderson our vice-principal, Mrs Wilson, staff and pupils my sincere best wishes for the new school year and continued success in the years to come.
