  • Christmas @ Hardy Memorial well under way!

    Lots of excitement this morning with our first of 6 performances. P1 & 2  presented 'Ralph The Reindeer' and 'A KIng is Born'. All children were fantastic, well done. We also had our school band playing as the crowds gathered and our P6 pupils selling their Business Beginnings product. Thankyou to everyone who came this morning. We hope you enjoyed it!
  • P6 Dragon's Den

    Our P6 pupils have been working away at producing their various Christmas Products. Demand was so high on Open Night they were nearly sold out. All products will be on sale at the Christmas Concerts. We would really appreciate your support. We will also be selling in Asda on the 13th Dec 11 - 1pm and at Fruitfield on the 14th Dec from 1.30 - 3 pm!!

     

    Please have a look at our PTA Dragon's Den, the P6 pupils presented to them to try and secure a loan!! Big Business at Hardy Memorial!!

  • Boys Hockey Team win silver medals!

    Well done to our Boys Hockey team who won silver in the Portadown Times Hockey Tournament on Tuesday @ Edenvilla. The boys defeated Seagoe, Mullavilly and Windsor Hill in the group stages.They then boys beat  Edenderry, Banbridge in the semi final on penalty runs and  met Bocombra PS in the final. The score was 0-0 at half time but finished 3 -0. Well done to James Beattie, Adam Megaw, Ross Lindsay, Alex McAfee, Luke Crawford, Joel Coert, Thomas Hall, Billy Young and Mark Hobson!
  • Congratulations to our Cross Country Stars!!

    What a fantastic day at the cross country n Armagh. All the children improved their times and places.!! Alex McAfee finished 4th and Rosie Jennings finished 8/9th(photo finish!) Everyone ran really well, much better than last time. All the practise paid off! Well done to all even though it was a little muddy!!

  • Celebration Assembly with Victoria Jackson!

    We welcomed Victoria, from Church Lads and Girls Brigade today to our Celebration Assembly. Victoria explained about her work and had everyone captivated with her Coke a Cola Presentation! She also did a fantastic job presenting our huge number of prizes and certificates. Well done to all our pupils who received a certificate this morning for Literacy, Numeracy, ICT, Helpfulness and Endeavour as well as Reading Partnership and Accelerated Reader. Great to see three more multi word millionaires!!
  • P5G Prayer Assembly

    Well done to Mr Glenny's P5 class who took assembly this morning. Their theme was Prayer and they told us the story of George Muller and how his devotion to prayer and to helped him to care for orphans in the late 1800's in Bristol. The boys and girls delivered a varied performance of singing, acting, reading and prayer. Well done!
  • ANTI BULLYING WEEK @ Hardy Memorial

    Throughout the week the boys and girls participated in a range of activities to highlight what 'Bullying' behaviour is and what to do if they find themselves in a situation. It started with an Anti Bullying assembly highlighting the theme, 'All Different, All Equal'.  P1 & 7 pupils enjoyed a Friendship walk, P2 & 6 explored their similarities and differences and enjoyed getting to know one another. P3 & 4 had friendship garden activities and P5 Hand Dreams.

  • P4H lead Remembrance Assembly

    Thankyou to Mrs Haire's class who led our assembly for Remembrance. P4 pupils told us the story behind the poppy and may interesting facts about the wars. Lucy Megaw remembered her great uncle and was able to show us his medals from the Battle of the Somme. We were delighted once again to welcome our friends from The Royal British Legion. Mr Tommy Foster, who has always organised our Poppy Collection, accompanied his colleagues to school. It was lively to learn the story behind the flag.
