  • Celebration Assembly with Victoria Jackson!

    We welcomed Victoria, from Church Lads and Girls Brigade today to our Celebration Assembly. Victoria explained about her work and had everyone captivated with her Coke a Cola Presentation! She also did a fantastic job presenting our huge number of prizes and certificates. Well done to all our pupils who received a certificate this morning for Literacy, Numeracy, ICT, Helpfulness and Endeavour as well as Reading Partnership and Accelerated Reader. Great to see three more multi word millionaires!!
  • P5G Prayer Assembly

    Well done to Mr Glenny's P5 class who took assembly this morning. Their theme was Prayer and they told us the story of George Muller and how his devotion to prayer and to helped him to care for orphans in the late 1800's in Bristol. The boys and girls delivered a varied performance of singing, acting, reading and prayer. Well done!
  • ANTI BULLYING WEEK @ Hardy Memorial

    Throughout the week the boys and girls participated in a range of activities to highlight what 'Bullying' behaviour is and what to do if they find themselves in a situation. It started with an Anti Bullying assembly highlighting the theme, 'All Different, All Equal'.  P1 & 7 pupils enjoyed a Friendship walk, P2 & 6 explored their similarities and differences and enjoyed getting to know one another. P3 & 4 had friendship garden activities and P5 Hand Dreams.

  • P4H lead Remembrance Assembly

    Thankyou to Mrs Haire's class who led our assembly for Remembrance. P4 pupils told us the story behind the poppy and may interesting facts about the wars. Lucy Megaw remembered her great uncle and was able to show us his medals from the Battle of the Somme. We were delighted once again to welcome our friends from The Royal British Legion. Mr Tommy Foster, who has always organised our Poppy Collection, accompanied his colleagues to school. It was lively to learn the story behind the flag.

  • Good Diabetes Award & NI Hospice!!

    We had an action packed assembly this morning with Jonny Breen and Jillian Pachett attending! Jonny explained about his work with the NI  Hospice and was delighted to receive a cheque from the Lucas children who very kindly held a Roald Dahl themed party to raise money!! What a fantastic idea, raising £575.00!!

    We were also delighted to have Jillian from Diabetes UK to present the  'Good Diabetes Care in School Award'. A special thankyou to Mrs Douglas for nominating the school. We are indebted to all the staff who ensure our pupils are safe and cared for in school. It was lovely to be recognised for that good work.

    Jonny and Jillian then kindly presented our awards for October. What a fantastic group of kids - well done to you all!

  • Boys Football Autumn Festival

    Congratulations to our boys football team who made it through to the quarter finals of the 'MUSFA Autumn Festival' at Drumgor PS on Friday.

    The boys did fantastically well to top their group thanks to victories over Millington and Drumgor B, as well as a draw with Maralin.

    All boys performed excellently in the quarter final, however lost out to Drumgor A in a narrow 1-0 defeat.

    Well done to all who played and a special mention to P6 debutants Luke Crawford and Callum Mannagh.

  • Fabulous P4McC Assembly

    P4McC presented a fabulous assembly on 'Marvellous Me'. The pupils spoke about how important it was to be individual and how everyone was made uniquely! They presented a brilliant story in drama to illustrate this. What great actors! Well done everyone!
