P6 Football Success!
Fri 09 Jun 2017Primary 6 boys today did fantastically well to come second out of sixteen teams in the Brownlow Cup.
The boys got off to a flying start, beating Dickson, Millington and Mullaghglass to top the group. They swept aside Carrick in the round of 16 before putting out Seagoe in a tense penalty shoot-out at the quarter-final stage. The boys produced their best performance of the day to defeat a very strong Kings Park team in the semi-final and set up a final against Mullavilly. In a tense eight minutes of normal time, both teams defended excellently to shut each other out. Unfortunately the boys came out on the losing side in the penalty shoot-out, however the future certainly looks bright. Well done boys, you should be very proud of yourselves!

Fabulous Fun Night!!
Fri 02 Jun 2017A huge thankyou to the PTA for organising what was an excellent evening despite the weather. Everyone worked do hard in school to prepare for bringing all into school under cover. Special thanks to our caretaker Mr McCrea who worked tirelessly to ensure all was ready. We would also extend our thanks to anyone who helped on the evening - the 'burger men', our nail ladies, etc. It was a tremendous team and community effort.
At first count we think we have cleared £1800 but hopefully with tuck shop sales next week we can push that over the £2000. Not a bad effort on a wet night!
